At Clare's Dog Grooming School, we are fully hands-on , meaning you will be grooming under guided learning. During classes, the majority of learning takes place on your grooming table.

We are a small school; this is what makes us unique. we teach one to two students per instructor, so you can guarantee quality classes and gain the skill and confidence to become a dog groomer, so you can guarantee quality classes to gain the skill and confidence to become a professional dog groomer. 

Dog grooming is a hands-on skill that requires practice, guidance, and real-time feedback. In-person classes provide students with the opportunity to physically interact with dogs, use grooming tools, and practice techniques under the direct supervision of experienced instructors.

You receive three books covering the theory of grooming, styling, tool use, welfare checks, salon procedures, coat types, etc.

The course includes a Canine First Aid certificate that is valid for three years

Grooming is a demanding career on the body and mind. Therefore, we require all potential students to come in for a guided learning class. This class is an entry assessment test to assess your suitability to be accepted onto the course. Your results from this assessment will be sent to you the following day.  This class is €150
