Health and Fitness 

Medical Disclosure: Students must be physically and mentally fit, and should disclose any medical, mental health, or allergy issues prior to enrollment.

 

Doctor's Letter: A doctor's letter may be required for students with pre-existing medical conditions to ensure the course is suitable for them. Please notify us if you suffer from a mental health issue or a learning difficulty this allows us to support you to the best of our ability. 

 

Vaccinations: Students may wish to consider having their tetanus vaccinations up to date.

 

Student Conduct and Responsibilities 

Professional Conduct: Students are expected to behave in a mature and considerate manner at all times.

 

Cleaning Duties: Students are responsible for cleaning their individual workstations, including bathtubs, tables, floors, and cages, and all equipment they use.

 

Dismissal: Serious violations of school rules can lead to suspension or dismissal, resulting in the loss of all fees paid. These violations include vandalism, consuming alcohol or drugs on school property, or smoking in non-designated areas. Abuse of staff and other students. Harassment and inappropriate behavior towards staff. 

 

Respect: Respect for animals, staff, and fellow students is a core expectation for all participants. Students must be able to accept constructive criticism this ensures the safety of the dogs in our care. 

 

 

Dress code: Footwear: Students must wear flat, comfortable shoes.

Jewelry: Excessive jewelry is not permitted, except for wedding rings and one small set of earrings.

Safety Gear: Students must wear any provided safety gear, such as overalls.

 

 

General rules: School Property: Students are not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs, and are prohibited from smoking in unauthorized areas.

 

We ask students to arrive on time and leave after there class has finished. This ensures staff are able to get ready for classes or close up in a timely manner.
